Evergreen Energy has identified major system improvements that have allowed for an efficiency increase of nearly double the typical process. Evergreen Energy and Clark technology jointly developed the finest anaerobic digestion (AD) process in the world, referred to as “4th Generation AD Process” which has been put into practice in Biogas Leeuwarden WTE Plant, on the campus of Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
